I have the best landlords ever. I really do.

However, for the last two weeks, the painters have been painting the house, so five times now I have gotten out of the shower only to see a painter, on a ladder, outside my bathroom window. Yesterday, I had to pee in a jar in my closet because they were working outside my bathroom window. In fact, outside all of my windows.

I will be soooo glad when they are done. On a positive note, the house is now much prettier.

Just a quick heads up that I will be out of town for the next four days.  I have been invited to Cincinati to hang with some folks who do inner-city work (very similar to what I do), only a) they are better at it than I am and b) they have been doing it since I was 10 years old.  There is so much I can learn here, I just had to accept when asked.

My internet prospects are uncertain for the next few days, so be patient with me if you email me and I do not jump right on a response.  I hope to blog about the trip, complete with pictures and such, but it may have to wait until I get back.

I recently submitted an article to Jesus Manifesto, a website that exists to “subvert the Empire (wherever it is found). But more importantly, it exists to call people to embrace the Kingdom of God.”. Sounds like my sort of people.

In any event, they published it. I thought I would share it with you here, before it goes on the portfolio page.

About a year ago, my friend Richard wrote a list of 100 things most people did not know about him. Thus inspired, I created my own list of things most did not know about me.

Like all lists, things change, so I have updated the list of 100 things you probably did not know about Hugh.
